A quiet serene astounded within
Wakes the conscious memory
Stumbling out of control to begin
Analyzed hours lost in puzzled imagery
Gasping at hope to restore the spirit
A decision taken back in vague reality
After the pain comes incredible relief
Support framework healing the body

Seeing the sunshine on my smile
Developing a sense of trust inside

Stepping in the light measured and slow
To the place where pain ends on the sidewalk
After the pain and advantages gain
By those sprawled on tormented shore
Grains of golden confidence will begin
To fall amidst the hungry roar
