Reflections Of Me, Reflections Of You
You see me as a person
with such a gentle heart,
that nothing in this world
could ever tear it apart.
I see you as a person
who builds up the walls,
never to let anyone in
not to let the bricks crack and fall.
You see me as a person
with a touching soul,
feeling sorrow for others
I do not even know.
I see you as a person
who lies and deceives,
making so many promises
that you can't ever keep.
You see me as a person
who is beautiful inside and out,
but I just don't see it
I am filled with doubt.
I see you as a person
whom is caught up on yourself,
one day, your world will come crashing down
when your true feelings, are left upon a shelf.
There is no doubt
this much is true,
seems we have nothing in common
reflections of me, reflections of you.
