Valentine's Day is coming. Red and Pink can be seen in all the stores.
For one day, set aside restraints, and make your wife feel special. Of course, diamonds and skanky lingerie are always winners, but what if you can't afford the expensive things? Here are a few suggestions that anyone can follow...
1) Surprise her by finding a babysitter for that special night - don't make her find someone - you take the initiative and set it up.
2) Rent a mushy, romantic movie - one that will make her cry and lean close to you.. Have the popcorn and drinks all ready.
3) Look for her favorite perfume at Walmart - They have better prices if you can find the right fragrance
4) Have a balloons bouquet sent to her at work.
5) If she is a stay at home mom, take the day off work and stay home with the kids - send her to the mall with $50 just because. Tell her not to get back until suppertime. When she gets back, have the house all clean, the kids tucked away (babysat if possible) and supper ready to go. Don't forget the candlelight!
6) Go to the local florist and ask for some rose petals. Write her a sweet note, pull back the bed covers, and spread the roses in a path that leads her into your waiting arms
7) Take her to get a free makeover at the mall. Tell her you will get her one or two new makeup item(s) -
8) Go to A&W for that rootbeer float with two straws.
9) Take her somewhere you went when you were dating
10) Write her a sweet nothings note that lets her know how much you really love and appreciate her. Try your hand at some poetry. It will mean more than the $5 card at Hallmark.
