There is nothing like the smell of a fresh Blackberry Cobbler. I remember as a child the smell of fresh cobbler baking and having a still warm slice topped with vanilla ice cream. In the South cobblers were popular dessert items for family get togethers, bar-b-ques and holidays. Fourth of July celebrations were not complete without a nice fresh hot cobbler. I still remember picking fresh blackberries and bringing them in to my mom so she could make a cobbler with them for us to enjoy after dinner that night. Summer days of making homemade ice cream to top our cobbler with.
Now a days people don't have time to get in the kitchen and make stuff like cobblers from scratch. Make it all from fresh ingredients like they use to do in the old days. Picking the blackberries theirselves, getting eggs fresh. Even getting the milk from their cow. People worked hard to make such a wonderful dessert. So you can have the fresh smell of a Blackberry Cobbler baking in your home I have included my recipe for Easy Blackberry Cobbler. I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as me and my family do. Also remember the special touch to every warm fresh cobbler is that one scoop of vanilla ice cream on top melting over it like a kiss from an angel. Now go make your own cobbler and enjoy the sweet smell of the south as it fills your kitchen.
