Cat Naps
Cats have this thing they do,
they take a nap for a minute or two.
Curled up in a furry ball,
on the upstairs steps or down the hall.
A catnap is a personal thing,
like a rubber mouse or a ball of string.
It serves the user as what may,
and could happen any time of day.
All cats are nappers, that's for sure,
they nap in gardens or by back doors.
Cats are oblivious to all life's stress,
but I think naps on laps they like the best.

Except my empty cat food dish
