I am as old as time itself,
I am a sprite,a winsome elf,
I watch all who come to dance,
I laugh in tune; I do enhance,
I wait for man to remember me,
The time is near; when all will see,
When all bow down in selfless worth,
When all respect my beauteous earth,
Until that time I sit, I wait,
It will come soon, for such is fate,
And so I stand in circle tall,
Seasons come, seasons fall,
There is a call, to this I own,
I am the Spirit in the Stone.

The Spirit in the Stone.
We met on a sunny day on a hill that over looked the sea.
We were two young lovebirds who were meant
There’s a stone that signifies part of my life.
A beautiful slab of granite.
It’s engraved with words of joy
by D K Mitchell
The Spirit in the Stone.
I gaze on mountains all day long,
they lift my spirit to craft my song,
within the rocks lost souls
John McNab distilled fine whiskey
The best in all the land
One bottle was superb
Like gold its price went hand in hand
He carried
by Moeze Lalji
The spirit
In the stone
Is empty
Yet when you
Lift it
To hold your
Door open
It does not mind
A bit
Even for
The pyramids
Of Egypt
