LITTLE CHILDREN
Our little children
laugh
talk
and smile at our funnies
smurfing
as they mimic Michael Jackson
and do the moonwalk
rolling over with joy
some with cabbage patch kids
and Barbie dolls cuddled snugly
Today we share their happiness
knowing
we were children once
we also try to remember
how much of us
are in each of them.
