Poetry: Save me

by Sarah Stennett

Created on: July 06, 2009

She stood in the middle of
The road, snowflakes
Fluttering around her,
She stares at the sky,
Wishing the moon to come out of hiding.

Alone.
That's how she came
Into this world and
How she thought
She would leave it
But a light shone
On her, a flashlight.

The beam shook as
The holder walked
To her.

"Are you okay?"
A voice asked.
Her world went black and
She fell the to the ground.
