Motivational tips for weight trainers

Do you want to be lean, strong, look and feel amazing? Great, however, there is only one problem that prevents you from reaching these sought after goals. And it's motivation. Do not worry, this article will provide you with many sources of motivation. So much so you'll never have to worry about not being able to get off the couch. So let's get started. Here are my top 10 motivators.

Music:

Nothing motivates you more then that one song you love that really kick starts your heart and gets your adrenaline flowing. Make a CD, a playlist etc of these songs. While working out, these tunes will make you want to push yourself harder and to your limits.

Partner:

Perhaps equal to music in my eyes when it come to motivation. You both push yourselves in and out of the gym. When you don't feel like going to the gym your partner is their telling you to go. In the gym you both tell each other to keep pushing, one more rep etc.

Role Model:

This is the person you want to look like. It helps you visualize what you want to look like and reminds you what muscles to work on. You could even use yourself. You can envision yourself how you looked like in your young athletic years or just how you want to look like in the future. Burn that image in your mind and push toward that goal.

Goals:

Obvious, yet important to mention. If you have a goal in mind it will push you to achieve it. Once you do the satisfaction in doing so will motivate you to set other, higher goals. Furthermore, another great way to see your progress is to take a before and after picture. You will be surprised at the positive changes your body has gone through in just a few months of training.

Mix It Up:

There is no doubt that repeating the same motion over and over again can become tedious, especially if you're not motivated. However, there are numerous different exercises for each muscle group. Mixing it up not only gets rid of boredom, but has a positive impact on your body.

Reminders:

After you work out you will notice that your muscles look bigger and fuller. This is because of the lactic acid build up in your muscles. So after you workout take a good look at yourself and you'll like what you see. Also, after exercising you feel strong and powerful. Remind yourself how good it feels to work out when you're unsure if you should go to the gym.

Impress:

There is always someone we want to impress. Do it with your body. Do you have an upcoming date with her/him? Are you going to the beach? Just think
