Poetry: Luck

by Demetrew Wilfredo Flores

Created on: July 05, 2009

Have you asked why others are so lucky,

While the rest just don't get the chance?

Some had a fun filled life with the family,

As others just couldn't get to dance;

Many are born at the height of riches,

And others needs to toil hard to earn;

Few had the brilliant minds of a genius,

While the rest has difficulty to learn;

Have you met pretty faces along the way,

Wondering why others are just the opposite?

Ask why one with perfect life dies one day,

As those in agony remain living indefinite;

Or envy an author with a hundred books,

While you couldn't even learn how to cook;

Has God showered his blessings one day,

And only but few has opened their hands?

Some have everything left there is to say,

As others shut their mouths in wastelands;

So we'll keep asking questions why,

Things doesn't seem to happen our way;

Until such momentous day we die,

Spiritually hearing what God has to say.
