Clothes and makeup are just ways to express ourselves. That is why everyone's style is different. And nobody should be judged by the way they express them self.

People have different reasons to wear what they do. Maybe they think it's fun? Or maybe they think it's stylish or they like it? It really doesn't matter unless they are happy with how they look.

Most people think that "Goths" are a bad influence or something, and they think because they might wear dark clothing or piercings they are "evil" or whatever.

This has been said for years and I'll say it again. You can never judge a book by its cover. You should never judge people unless you know enough about them to make a logical judgement.

Judging with only an appearance is very shallow. Just because somebody does look good enough for your standards doesn't mean they are not good. For all you know they could be nice people.

Judging is okay, only if you have proof that they are like the way you think. If you think they are mean, why? The answer can't be "because they look that way."

There is a huge variety of style between people of all ages, especially this generation. Kids and teens wear what they want, and if they think they look okay, that's not up to you to decide.

Judging other people on appearance is one of our many problems in society. Even if it is a small problem, it can hurt feelings or cause some trouble. I think if there was absolutely no judging based on how somebody looks, everyone would get along better and have a lot more friends. People will be happier in general.

There is also confusion of the religion of somebody who has a dark style and/or piercings. Some people say they must be "satanic". For all anybody knows they could be catholic. Religion starts many fights in the world, whatever the reason. The last thing you do is judge somebody's religion on how they look.

So anyway, Goths should be allowed to wear what they want without being judged. Actually, everybody should. It is impossible to make everyone not judge somebody by the way they look, but I just want to say that it is wrong.

People are judged usually because they dress or look different from most people. You have to remember or at least try not to judge somebody by how they look. Remind your friends. Say maybe they aren't the way you think? You never know. Try talking to them and maybe they really aren't so bad at all.
