A guide to the enemies in Larva Mortus (PC)

In Larva Mortus, you play a hunter that is pretty much like Van Helsing. You go around slaying hordes of supernatural foes. The foes available to slay cover pretty much every type of monster seen in horror films. You could perhaps include fantasy films as well. There are many types as well, with there being as many as thirty different foes for you to fight with varying power levels.

The guide that you're reading is intended to cover the enemies that you fight and give their statistics, along with their in-game description and a basic outline of how they fight and how to defeat them.

1) Spiders.

Class: Vermin

Health: 30

Hit: 7

In-game description: A huge insect with a deadly poisonous bite that will follow you fiercely until you crush it!

My thoughts: The enemy is defeated rather easily in all honesty. The sword will do or any other weapon.

2) Bats.

Class: Vermin

Health: 12

Hit: 15

In-game description: They are weak creatures, but they are also very fast. In larger swarms, they can be a threat.

My thoughts: The game description is really pretty accurate. They can be hard to hit with your sword or with your pistols. While you can wait for them to come close to you and whack them with your sword, you're probably best just using the shotgun or mini-gun to kill them.

3) Zombie.

Class: Undead

Health: 70

Hit: 10

In-game description: In cursed places, the dead that are unable to rest walk the land and seek the living to feed on their flesh.

My thoughts: The zombie is easy to kill. The sword is definitely more than enough.

4) Skeleton.

Class: Undead

Health: 50

Hit: 25

In-game description: What skeletons lack in endurance, they gain in speed!

My thoughts: Again, they are easy to kill but they are quicker than zombies are. They can also use ranged attacks.

5) Fat undead.

Class: Undead

Health: 120

Hit: 15

In-game description: They are very resistant with deadly poisonous gas attacks.

My thoughts: They are more durable than the zombie and skeleton are. It's perhaps best to use the mini-gun or shotgun to take them out. Also, keep away from the poisonous clouds they emit until they disappear.

6) Burning skeleton.

Class: Undead

Health: 100

Hit: 25

In-game description: Undead bodies of sinners are set on fire for all eternity, which makes them much more deadly. They also throw burning body parts.

My thoughts: Again, keep your distance from them and blow them away from afar.

7) Imp.

Class: Demon

Health: 80

Hit: 20

In-game description: This small insidious devil is a fast runner. He can throw multiple burning projectiles.

My thoughts: As indicated by the description, the imp uses ranged attacks. However, when it's attacked, it can also be set on fire and runs around the room. So when that happens, it needs to be avoided and pummelled until it dies
