Poetry: Remembering love

by Joe Williams Jr.

Created on: July 05, 2009

To remember love, you must have had

and in my heart, this truth hurts so bad

I've never felt the love that every man desires

and this pain burns like a fire

the more I dwell, the more I cry

I try to get a girl, I'm just to shy

and I'm kind of shallow, though I try not to be

and their is a beautiful girl that I want so deeply

she is my passion, all I care for

she is the only one whom I adore.

I love her, I want her, but I am being selfish

she already has the boy for whom she has wished

it kills me to think that we will always just be friends

But i will always love her until the very end

so all you with love, remember what I say

you are the luckiest person alive, each and every day.
