The unstable government that exists in North Korea, is the larger threat to World Peace. Than is Iran.

With all due respect to some of the other Intelligence agencies around the world . The American Intelligence community actually monitored a nuclear detonation in North Korea, just a few short weeks ago! So obviously their nuclear mission has not changed in this small, but extremely volatile country. The leadership of this nation has made not only their feelings well known. But also their intentions by continually developing their Nuclear Weapons program. Testing longer and longer range missile's. Walking away from any type of Unilateral Peace Accords, and constantly threatening acts of war against their neighbor's, and America. I would honestly surmise that North Korea represents the larger Nuclear threat, than does Iran.

As far as World Peace goes. There has never even been such a thing, as far as I'm aware. I honestly don't believe that the world population that is alive today. Will be fortunate enough to ever see such an event take place. The very nature of Mankind precludes this occurence from ever happening. Unless we see the second coming of Christ in our lifetime. World Peace is, and shall remain. A hope or dream, deep inside the human physique. We can all hope and pray for World Peace. But I truly believe that the chance of that ever happening is very slim indeed!

Honestly speaking. Do we really even know who's in charge in North Korea? Their leader Kim Jong ll has shown definite health issue's in the recent past, and are they mental or otherwise? I don't believe anyone really knows for sure. But this much is for certain. He has shown strangely erratic behavior on several different occasion's, and because North Koreans are a militarized society to begin with. The smallest provocation could cause a huge impact throughout the entire World community, as a whole!

Let's be honest here. Even though the United States has the best equipped. Best trained and technologically advanced military in the world. Our military is fully volunteered, and we are over-committed as it is. We are already involved in two separate wars. In two different region's of the world. So we cannot afford a third, nuclear or otherwise in North Korea! One fact that we truly need to consider is the backing or the lack thereof. From their neighbor to the north, China! Even in any real substantial UN sanction's. China has refused to give their endorsement, and that my friends is cause for legitimate concern. Let's not forget. China has a standing army of over three million soldiers. So regardless of how much better the American military may be. The law of average's would absolutely be on their side!

Again, this is only one researched opinion. But the true problem lie's in the unstable nature of the leadership of North Korea. There isn't a single day that goes by that we don't hear of some new war rhetoric, coming from this country. Considering the fact that North Korea all ready has a very real problem with America to begin with. Plus the unstable nature of this countries leadership, and that my friends is a true recipe for disaster!
