The bell rang; Donna, her friends and other pupils, headed for the school gates. It had been a long day and Donna couldn't wait to get home. She looked out towards the tall wrought iron gates and saw an unwelcome familiar figure. It was Richard...
Richard was her next door neighbour and ever since he had moved in, about a year ago, he had become completely obsessed with Donna. He started to send Donna flowers and chocolates and made no attempt to hide his affections for her. It made life unbearable and tough to carry on as normal.
The police uncovered pictures of Donna in Richards's house and a disturbing video link which was connected to Donna's bedroom. She was completely mortified at this scoundrel's behaviour and audacity to do such a thing. The police ordered a restraining order on Richard. He was forced to move away and any contact with Donna whatsoever would end in imprisonment.
That man made her shiver all over, with his creepy, slippery, snake-like voice. When he spoke it was menacing tones that made Donna's heart feel like it had stopped beating, he would often lean in to her face and whisper, in her ear with a chilling frosty breathe. He would insensitively stroke her neck, which sent shivers down Donna's spine. She hated that man and she couldn't go out of school now. Donna looked closer at the gates; was it him or was she being paranoid? She tried to see his facial expressions. Richard's eyes would generally look over at her, as if his eyes were glazed with insanity, and he would watch her every move she made, then he'd smile at her in a truly-terrifying way that showed his glistening white teeth. It made her feel intimidated and worthless.
The school had become deserted now as everyone bombarded hastily through the school gates as quickly as they could. As the figure was vastly approaching her she realised it was her it was one of the technology teachers who was in charge of standing at the school gates. Although she was struck with relief she still felt shaky all over; what would she have done if that had have been Richard?
She quickly rushed though the school gates and practically ran all the way home as she constantly felt that someone was behind her.
The next day Donna had been at her friend's house working on a science project that was due in the following week. When she returned home everything seemed different. The atmosphere seemed eerie and she didn't like the feeling that surrounded her. As she wondered upstairs blissfully unaware
