I ache and cry inside every single day.
It hurts you know, but I pretend it is ok.
Just once I would like to close my eyes,
And know you will not be hiding inside...
The fall air, sunshine and wind
Only remind me it is really our end.
My laugh, my smile, a classic fake
Hiding the fact I'm about to break...
Dreams and wishes never come true.
struggle and survive, that's what I do.
Whispers and shadows of you I still see,
pulling and tearing at the heart of me.
At night the pain only grows worse,
Loves fortune turned into a curse.
Hope shattered and innocence lost.
Would I love you again knowing the cost?
