When The World Turns In
When the world turns in for the night
And the events from the day slip away
My inner voices no longer have to fight
To compete with the hustle of the fray
There is relief within my bedroom quiet
I can finally hear myself sigh
The haze from my nicotine diet
Out of sight of disapproving eyes
The crackle of AM Radio
Informercials that repeat all night long
The darkness outside my window
As the crickets belt out their song
Reflection turns into transition
As tomorrow's plans must be laid
So I can put myself in the position
To go out into the world and get paid

When the Night Sings
Your eyes mirror in the tears shimmering down my face.
A mask can hide my forged smile, turning me into
In the day, so calm and warm.
The gentle breeze brushing through our long hair.
The rain can come down, but no hole it can
by A.J. Carron
See the sunset end a story,
It seems to fade so easily.
Draws a curtain on its glory,
Then slips away from you and me.

"Problem, reaction and solution"
When we went hunting volunteers
after the reason we created,
the brightest, youngest and best
There is something about the night that fascinates
But in conflict with the worship of sunlight
And clean shadows, and time
