In a light saber duel between Darth Vader and Darth Maul, I know for a fact that Darth Maul would own Darth Vader. The first reason is because of the differences in their speed. Darth Vader is too slow and not very agile. Most of Darth Vader is made up of robotics so he will not be able to keep up with all of the fast movements. He will not be able to keep up withthe speed and quickness of Darth Maul. Darth Maul is really fast and could run circles around Darth Vader, making it impossible for Darth Vader to dodge his opponent. When it comes to speed, Darth Maul is better and this would help him in a lightsaber duel.

Think about this situation. When Darth Maul and Darth Vader start to fight they stand still for five minutes starring each other down, and showing their hatred for one another. Darth Vader strikes first and uses the force on Darth Maul. Darth Maul falls down, unexpectedly. Darth Maul pulls his lightsaber out and twirls it around him, showing Darth Vader his elite skills. Darth Vader pulls his light saber out and waits for Darth Maul to attach first. Darth Maul stops twirling and charges at Darth Vader. He uses the force and swings at him, sending him across the room. Darth Vader stands up and gives Darth Maul a look that says, "Come and get me."

The battle continues and Darth Maul charges at Darth Vader. Darth Vader prepares himself. Darth Maul does a front flip over Darth Vader and swings at his back. Darth Vader barely makes it over to stop the blow, then he starts swing aggressively at Darth Maul. Darth Maul, with his quickness and his double-ended lightsaber blocks each blow with his precision and aggression. Sparks fly all over the place and tension fills the room as they walk onto a platform over a cliff with a three million meter drop. They make it to the center of the platform and stop. They both stick theirhands out and use the force on one another. They stand still for a moment struggling to keep going and both go flying back with a bang. Darth Vader stands up and he sees that Darth Maul is nowhere to be seen. He starts to walk back when out of no where Darth Maul flips out from under the bridge and kicks Darth Vader in the face. Darth Vader falls to the ground. Darth Maul throws out his light saber and swings it at Darth Vader, hittinghim in the arm, and stabs him in the thigh. Darth Vader squeezes in pain and stands up. Darth Maul starts swing at Vader but gets rejected every time. He lands another hit on the other arm. There, now Darth Vader has no arms, and no way to save himself. Darth Vader goes to kick Darth Maul because that is all he has left, but ends up getting his leg cut off too. Darth Vader falls further to the bridge with a big bang. He tries to stand up but he can't. Darth Maul walks to the end of the platform and causes an explosion that sends the bridge falling far below where no one could see.

Darth Maul's speed, gymnastics, double-ended lightsaber and fresh moves make him the winner in a battle with Darth Vader.
