The evening call of the train
As it rattles down the tracks.
A wise, old owl's voice
Screeching through the night.

The happy sound of friendly voices
Emanating from houses all around.
A hawk's fearless warning
Echoing through the canyon.
These are the sounds
That comfort my soul.
