Helium's upfront payment system allows writers to earn anywhere from fifty cent to $2.50 per article written to qualifying channels. The more articles written to qualifying channels the more you can earn with quality articles. The bonus for writing to empty titles is $1 in addition to the upfront payment given. So how do you take advantage of this bonus?

The first article to a title in a qualifying channel is the one that you have to write. How do you find them? Check the contest page on the first day and there should be several that don't have articles written to them. When you participate in the contest you have the potential for increased earnings by the possibility of placing in the contest, ad revenue and if you are the first writer to the title you get the additional $1 for the empty title bonus.

Title finder is a useful tool to find articles that are in the areas that interest you if you have a subject that you would like to write about. Once the title finder has pulled up the list just click on the titles and go to them to ensure that they are still empty. The channels and sub-channels have a list of articles that need writers. Sort through them and check the ones you are interested in individually to make sure that you will be writing the first article to the title.

Helium gives writers the option of suggesting titles when they can't find a title that suits the article they have in mind. When attempting to take advantage of the empty title bonus writing about subjects that you have prior knowledge of and don't need to research can assist you in being the first one to post to the title. If you chose an article that you have to research you want one that isn't going to take you more than a few minutes to research and write in order to avoid having someone else be the first one in the title.

Searching through your own articles and looking over to the side for the related titles will assist you in finding empty titles as well. The related titles are often similar in subject matter to the article that was written first which means that you can use the knowledge you already have to create the article.

To take advantage of the empty title bonus you have to write the first article in a title in a qualifying Helium channel. You want to make sure the article will not take you very long to write a high quality article and that the title is in fact empty by finding it on the site itself.
