A Messenger of Hope?

He came with a message of hope, peace and prosperity
Warming up a beloved country and motherland,
Which was cold with fear of Financial Armageddon,
And fear of daring and die hard terrorist.

Terrorist who know nothing about negotiation
Theirs only to kill and destroy,
Both the enemy and the innocent,
But America has made her choice

"Yes we can", was the clarion call,
But too soon, reality is setting in.
The clarion call was only a campaign call,
Nothing more, nothing less.

Now, only a little hope remains
For the revival of the American Dream,
Which is gasping for breath and fighting hard
Against a monster named Economic Crunch.
