And as I sit here with this pen in hand
The room floats past, an absent lift from the real.
Take my word, I'm jotting down the things I feel.
Literature comes off the page and the stories play themselves.
I remain dormant in appearance. I write the manuscript.
Dabble with some irony, foreshadowing, hyperbole and intertwine biography.
Emerson was right.
The poets are alive.
