Building trust in friendship is very important to make the friendship last long or maybe a friendship forever. It needs sincerity and loyalty, honesty and respect to build one's trust in friendship. In any relationship, Trust is the sole foundation to make the relationship last.

How to build trust in friendship?

Be Honest - Tell the truth no matter what it cost. With this, your friend will trust you because you are not afraid to tell the truth even if it cost something. A friend can be trusted if he is honest in everything even to the least of things that seems unimportant, he should not lie about it. Be a trustworthy person.

Be considerate- and understanding in all your dealings with him/her. Once you are considerate, not putting pressure on him/her in any circumstance instead try to find ways to help and support your friend. In this way, trust will be built.

Listen when he needs someone to talk to. Don't keep on suggesting your opinion when he/she opens up things. Learn to listen and give your advice when he/she ask for it. Never over rule his emotion. You can not trust somebody who always give unsolicited advice. Wait when your opinion is ask for.

Learn how to keep a secret. This is very important in building trust in friendship. Do not share your friend's secret to others. That is rudeness and will create trouble and lost of trust. when trust is lost, it is very hard to regain it. If you know how to keep a secret, your friend can trust you even the most dark secret he/she has he will share it with you and ask for your opinion because he can trust you.

Encourage your friend when he is down. Show your concern and loyalty. Let him feel that you are always there no matter what happens. In this most trying situation, they need somebody who is there for them. One whom they can trust and rely in everything.

Volunteer to help when they are in need even if they don't ask you. Sometimes, friends are embarrass to ask help thinking that they might disturb your privacy or they don't want to bother you with their own personal concern. By doing this noble deed to your friend, you are building trust in your friendship.

Share what you have to your friends. Have plans to get together and have fun sharing your blessings. This is a very good way of building trust in friendship. Sharing things without reservation. Let them feel that they are always important to you and that you are willing to share what you have to them and they will do the same when you start doing it, it will come right back to you.

Trust begets trust. If you build your trust to somebody, they will give back the trust on you.
