A wise man once said, "The purpose of life is to live a life of purpose."

One cannot be successful until this purpose is discovered and this has a lot to do with a person's passion. Of course, only those who want to have some purpose in life will go through all the pains to find this passion. Those who don't may as well leave the world with nothing of importance achieved, and with all their precious talent crumbled to dust along with them. Hence, for certain success in the uncertainty that prevails nowadays, the discovery of one's passion is mandatory not only for a well established self esteem but also to enjoy his or her time at work.

Passion and personality go hand in hand. While one must begin the search for his passion, one must first be aware of his identity. Before I got to know myself, I spent long hours in depression. I wanted to know myself in order to find what was best for me. You must do this soul searching at an early age, and getting to know yourself takes a lot of time. Indeed, most of your teenage years will be spent in this. Many people are not able to write much on the topic 'Myself'. Why? Only because they haven't spared much time to get to know themselves. At the beginning, the person you know least in your household is you, and your loved ones know you more than you know yourself.

I got to know myself through extensive reading and personality quizzes. Whenever I read, I would compare myself to some character in a novel and realize the similarities between our respective traits. Also, with reading I got to know different adjectives that I could use to describe myself. But you don't necessarily need to read a novel to know yourself. This is only one of the ways to do it.

You can spare some time and meditate. Think of your actions and the person you are. Think of what interests you and how you behave in general. The answers will keep coming. If this is not what you want to do, then ask a family member or close friend to help you in your spiritual journey. They will surely be a source of criticism and will give you a chance to realize your shortcomings and correct them. At the end of this odyssey, you will be more confident and will consider what you would like to do in life.

Don't worry if you're not able to find your thing. If you keep on trying, it will come to you. Therefore, the trick is to never stop searching. Passion means having a genuine feeling for something. Your passion is something you love;
