subject makes no sense of is in another language than any you speak. Avoid sites in search engines where the description makes no sense or repeats itself a lot. These sites are using tags to draw people in to a site that has nothing to do with what your searched for. And most of all, do not just click OK to downloading and installing software or plug ins from a site unless you are certain of the publisher of the file, and that you need the file to continue with the site. A lot of sites use these plug ins claiming that you need to install them to view videos or the site will not work correctly. Some of these are actually required to view the video and are legitimate plug ins that work, but are still considered spyware. It is important to note that not all spyware is malware, but you have to be willing to accept the risks of installing these intrusive plug ins. You'll have to use your best judgment here. As a personal policy though, I never install anything from the web that hasn't been signed by the publisher. The download popup should always state whether the plug in is signed or not.
One can literally go on and on into infinite detail on computer security, but that would require writing a book, and is beyond what I have time for right now. However, this should get you started.
