I have to admit I was a big fan of "Rock of Love" when the show first aired, but I mean did we really need more than one season? Trust me I am a big fan of Bret's and Poison, but never would I throw myself on the guy like a piece of raw meat. In my opinion none of the women on the show had any respect for themselves or the viewers. I'm not taking for granted the fact of it being a "reality show" and I use that term loosely, but give me a break Bret! Why didn't he just stick with band? His viewers would have had a much better opinion of him if he had. Poison is one of my favorite bands of the 80's. They were back during the era when music really had a meaning.

But be it as it may the show had high ratings at first, however as of now, I hadn't really kept of with it much lately. I mean if I'm channel surfing and happen to run across the "Rock of Love" title, it'll draw my attention for a few moments. And to think poor Bret is still going through the motion with each pride-less woman that they cast on the show. Well I'm here to tell you if I hadn't found true love after season one, VH1 could have sold my spot to the next Punk-ed candidate! There is no way possible you can convince me that the famous rock star Bret Michael's is that desperate. I am a firm believer that money isn't everything and can't make you happy, but it's got to help out just a little. I just can't understand why he would subject himself to the degradation of it all.

On the other hand, maybe Bret wanted a more personal title to express to his fans about a different opinion of himself that his public admirers had never seen in him before. Who knows what goes through anyone's mind when it comes to stardom. However, I still think Bret's fans will remember him as being a member of the great band Poison, I know I sure do. I have always loved their music and lyrics. Bret Michaels, as well as Poison, will always hold a special place in my heart and as far as reality shows go, I'm willing to guess that "Rock of Love" also has its place at the top with all of Bret's viewers. It was definitely a favorite of mine of which I couldn't miss one moment. It had my total attention with the non-stop partying, arguments, and occasional fight! But, I guess that's what you get when watching reality TV right? However, I have to give kudos to Vh1 for all of their captivating moments caught on camera of all the desperate women who were all over Bret like he was a cheap suit or something. But, who knows, maybe I missed something through all of the hairspray vapors on the set! Then again, maybe not.
