For every action there must be an equal and opposite re-action. We have all heard this phrase in one way, shape or form, but have we contemplated it thoroughly?
The laws of physics governs everything. Karma is an Indian word but most people know what it represents. To believe that G-d is affected by what we say or do (bad or good) is nonsense. How arrogant are we? The laws of creation are the same laws that are systemic in life and non-life.
At this point, humans are the superior beings only because of our mental capacity. That could change over time. Humans created G-d only because they cannot comprehend creation. We fear what we don't know and justify our reasons for the fear. In doing so, G-d was created and that same fear is used to manipulate mankind.
The constant battles over what G-d loves and hates is one of the most argumentative conundrums. We simply cannot accept karma. It is hard for people to believe because the re-action to our actions are at times delayed, so much so, that the action is forgotten and we wind up asking ourselves, "Why did this happen to me?" We ask ourselves, "How could this happen to such a nice person?" A book is written asking the question, "Why bad things happens to good people." The mystery is ongoing and sells to those of curiosity.
Reality is at times hard to confront. Death is an example for instance, when someone close to us dies, we disbelieve - denial is blocking our reasoning ability. For example, Elvis has been dead for over 3 decades, Hitler has been dead longer and there are some that still believe that both are still alive. It is this type of dysfunction of our minds that disallows us from accepting reality.
The Bible (Five books of Moses only) tells us everything we need to know, and the first step in finding those answers is to stop listening to those that claim they know G-d's word. They only know how to increase the collections with their large baskets. Do you recall reading anywhere in the Bible to contribute to the church? The only statement that may imply that, is the passage regarding the Levites (of which I am one) stating that they will not have a share of Israel and the other tribes were to allow the Levites anything they needed.
The next step is to learn to read the Bible in its original form. Stop reading these translations that are designed to benefit the church and those who run it. If you really want knowledge and truth, my friend, that is the only way. The characters will speak to you truthfully
