Finding truth

A PUZZLE

Finding truth is sometimes like a jig-saw puzzle. It can have many confusing pieces which must connect.

Everyone has a different Life, and so often when speaking the truth of our own, many find it difficult to believe. It can be even harder when it is misunderstood, or twisted completely out of context. The finding of truth here is finding it hard to be believed; and belongs to those who cannot. Mostly this is because it cannot be identified with.

There are those who seek the truth of whatever they need the answer to. It may be an illness; and these would seek it through the medical system from a general doctor, right through to as far as the search takes. The journey could be a long and traumatic investigation for answers, to an even worse scenario, where there is no cure, nor relief.

Others need resolution to a nagging suspicion that 'somehow' they do not feel they fit into what is supposed to be their family. This sometimes leads to the truth that they were adopted from birth; and now their drive is to seek even further, as to who their biological parents are. Sometimes the truth here ends in a happy reunion; and other examples would be an opposite reaction; with their truth being very hurtful.

When a Court of Law wants only the truth as a resolve to a problem, many are cross questioned to the point of interrogation. Prodding from every possible angle to get the truth of the story out in the light. Even this can be harrowing when an innocent victim is telling the truth; yet after days of investigation, still found guilty. Truth is not always believed by the mass here, called a jury.

Truth is like quick-silver when someone wants to evade it. There is usually an air of 'some thing's not quite right' around such a person; and a degree of suspicion hangs over them like a cloud. This is the best example of how it pays to be honest and stand in the light of one's own truth. Sometimes is can be mis-read when the same person is still shielding their feelings, or in denial.

Yet finding the truth is still worth the pain. It's a journey worth every stone unturned; which can be a surprise like a diamond. Or it can be a Priceless Pearl which grows into living Wisdom. Yet at the same time, it has a way in which it cannot be kept to oneself forever. Even if truth cuts like a knife, it lets out the pain of knowing the accuracy; of really setting us free.

Whatever it is, where-ever the search takes us, embrace it as we would relief. Despite our different tapestries; each is our own. We can wear it like a crown with honor; or if it hurts; help relieve someone else's pain as equally. Truth is, we won't have to search for it any more; we will simply know.
