My life is very redundant, everyday is the same
People never change, and all I see is pain
I wake up in the morning and all my problems remain the same
Lying in bed wondering why nothing has changed
I prayed to the good lord for a brighter day,
Wishing sometimes that he would just take me away.
For you see, my life is not like yours,
It is the exact opposite; it is a dark game,
A cruel joke, something I don't want to provoke,
But yet a shade of happiness is all that keeps me sane,
A bit of hope is all that remains.
I live in a past that I cannot escape,
Today seems like it will never end,
And tomorrow is just another day,
For I am a broken person
Just searching for a way,
To make it through another day.
