Songs: Judgement

by Kristy Paniagua

Created on: June 30, 2009

Who I am aint what you see,
you stare blindly,
yet your vision defines me...

Sight,
A literal translation of visually over analyzing,
causing individual perceptions to need neurological realigning.
Deceitful speculation about what's inside,
lead insight and vision to unfortunately collide.

Regard me,
One judge presiding, by whom my destiny's decided.
Blatant stares, assumptions, you're busy scrutinizin'.
But you build me up, not break me down with the negativity you've provided,
cuz be real, what you make of me got no chance of materializin'.

Hear me,
When I tell you what you see aint what you get,
multifarious tattoos aren't a cause for disrespect.
Rearrange your visions to a Da Vinci from an Escher
or I'll be laughin' at you like you're my personal court jester.

Listen,
Heed these words with some sense,
let them settle, sink in and obliterate your ignorance.
You've got sixpence, yet with morals you're none the richer,
might as well be late Monet painting a portrait of my picture,
because you cant see....

That you stare blindly,
and let your vision define me.
