If you are looking for something to do in Des Moines, Iowa why not hit up Jordan Creek Town Center. It is a premier shopping center providing central Iowa with food, fun and entertainment. The Mall has convenient hours of 10:00AM-9:00PM Monday through Saturday. It is also open 11:00AM until 6:00PM on Sundays. They are also open on all major holidays including the fourth of July from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Located on over 2 million square feet It is town center providing you with several unique opportunities for leisure and entertainment. The Mall is part of the shopping district. It is enclosed. It features a dynamic combination of national retailers and fashion shops. They are opportunities for all ages and sizes to shop. One could also shop or household accessories, art, jewelry, cell phones or even books. Such things as bath and body as well as shoes are very popular at this mall. There are more than 100 shops to enjoy.

If you like you want to get outside and experience Iowa's lovely summer, why not enjoy the Lake District? There is a 3.5 acre lake for you to take in. There are also bike trails, and pedestrian walkways. There is also a boardwalk that offers lake front dining. You may also get lucky and catch some live music as there is an amphitheater nearby.

When you do get hungry and decide to dine why not have dinner at one of 11 sit down restaurants? You can also choose to eat the state of the art food court. Wherever you choose to eat dinner it is sure to be an enjoyable experience. After dinner movies can be fun. The theater located in the mall has over 12 screens playing new releases.

Jordan Creek Town Center also has boutiques that create a village like atmosphere. The village is comprised of specialty shops in an open air lifestyle design.

One may want to stay overnight. If that is the case there are several hotels that are located near town center. There are several attractions located near both the hotel and the town center. The Des Moines Art Center has a variety of 19th and 20th century art pieces and is known nationally. The Des Moines Playhouse also may have plays running. Many of their shows are seasonal. Yet, they are known around the area for performing musicals and Broadway hits. An Iowa Cubs game is also a fun treat for the family. It is Iowa's only AAA baseball team. Whatever you decide to do, the Jordan Creek Town Center and the surrounding area have something for you.
