loves lost war
Your lack of words
Freeze the room
Left only to stare blankly
When you realize my stares
I turn in shame
the rose colors bloom early this year
and if statistics always win wars
why revolt at all
i'll just let the current take me
Where I'll slowly start to sink
When my head pulls under
I'll think of you
What went wrong
Instead of singing for you
The songs became about you
Our words ran dry
our stories lost love
All thats left is the regularity of life
and the little girl
who took the last ounces of love
we had left for each other
Our tales became those of war
Head to head battles
left quiet nights
the only things left alive
are without heart or soul
And the only thing that can warm me
Is the enemy of war

Poetry: Tears
A LITTLE GIRL CRIES
A little girl cries as she sits alone on the edge of her bed,
So perfectly made in her room so neat and
Moisture dropping upon my cheeks
My soul releasing
Clear droplets like the morning dew
Glistening on an aspen tree
Tears are
Tears
There it is again,
the unavoidable burning in my throat
that signals the trapped emotions of tears wanting to escape.
Quietly they fall, disturbing nothing.
No trace left behind as they vanish.
Yet their existence holds so much.
A clear morsel
Prettiness has dashed him awake
He has become nothing next to her power
Lost in his scattered tears
She has taken her stand
