Social networking marketing techniques

Everyone loves free advertising, why should you be any different? Do you want to increase your page views and thus increase your pay check each month? Then Social Marketing could be a good route for your business.

Simply put, Social Networking will provide you with a free advertising program. Lets face it, in today's modern society, ninety-percent of us are on some form of a social network. Whether its MySpace, Facebook, Twitter or some other site, its a social network. You have a group of friends that want to know what you are up to on a daily basis. By sharing with them what you are up to, you're taking advantage of your social network and gaining yourself some great free advertising.

It's time to cash in on your free advertising. Are you posting to a blog daily or weekly? I bet if you are you have some ads on your blog in hopes of earning a few dollars here and there. But, what if the advertiser drops you because you aren't bringing them in enough revenue? What can you do then aside from finding new ad companies?

Setting up a social network where friends and family can follow your every move is a great way to expound on this new era. Its never too late to jump on the bandwagon and set up your page. Chose one or all and start adding your friends and family today and take advantage of your opportunity to freely advertise your recent article.

Perhaps you don't want everyone on a specific social networking site to read the article you wrote that is centered around Uncle Earl and his rheumatism, simple, set up several sites and make sure that you keep them somewhat segregated in who you add to various sites. Don't add Aunt Sally to the same site you post about Uncle Earl on and you should be fine. Just make sure that some articles are posted on one of the sites each week and no one will be the wiser as long as you pick and chose who gets what article.

It can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to market your articles professionally. Why not take advantage of a simple social networking site and market your articles for free? It won't cost you any money. It will only take you a few minutes of your time to get them set up and route each new article to one (or all) of your social networks.

Ask friends and family what sites they are on and spread the word. As you go along you will make even more contacts and expand your readership. Add articles to your free blogs and include a "subscribe to" button as well.

Now you have it, free advertising, and an increased readership of your articles for little of nothing. Minimal effort and a gained readership which will add to your income exponentially.
