Wild animals which should never be kept as pets...it is my opinion that "no" wild animal should ever be kept in a private residence environment unless it is to nurse them back to health and then freed back into the wild as soon as possible. We should respect wild animals and allow them to keep their natural born instincts with the nature of living in their natural habitats or in zoological parks. It is inhumane to keep a wild animal caged and away from a life in the wild. When you cage an animal, it will eventually turn on its owner and also zoo keepers and in many cases people have died from these caged animals.
When people speak of animal cruelty, they should realize that harboring a wild animal for any length of time is "animal cruelty " and it should never be done. There's certainly a reason wild animals live in the wild and that is because it's their natural instincts coming out in them. This instinct is born and bred in them. They know the wild it is their natural habitat where they can roam and be free. When people take wild animals as pets, they are taking them away from their habitat.
When people elect to keep a wild animal as a pet, it is nothing but a greedy action to cause the animal to be in torture for the rest of its life. Why not just sentence it to death? Do you think this is cruel and wrong? How would you like to be taken from your natural habitat to live among things that are not a part of you? It takes them away from their breeds and other animal breeds existing in the world. Living in the wild is the only life creatures have lived and to keep them from it is terrible.
People should show respect and have admiration for our critters living in the wild and we should never do anything to bring harm to them. We should try to preserve their surroundings and keep them safe. They deserve to live a life of freedom and enjoy their lives to roam the wilderness freely and partake in the good life they are use to. They were put here on the earth to live in the wild and not as pets in cages where they have "no" freedom whatsoever. It's hands off as far as I'm concerned when it comes to wild animals.
Sometimes it might be tempting to keep a tiny fawn or maybe even a beautiful cuddly baby black bear to see if its taming can be conquered and it can become docile and a tamed pet. We should respect wild animals as "we" as humans want to be respected, allowing them to live in peace without fear of becoming a caged animal.
