Power politically may be thought of as violence. It may be that intelligence cognizant of equal rights and common interests is the best foundation for voluntary association of a political party with prospects for enduring long. Until such time that a new proletariat forms internally or externally the existing democratic association may prevail and yet slowly or rapidly reshape itself from within as micro-fissures develop into large, or as the initial broadly equal cooperative distribution of power and resources become stratified. Even thermodynamic flows represented in statistics may find a clustering of mass from an initial isotropic equilibrium; more powerful interest within a party may concentrate power unto itself from an equal starting point. Leninist Russia experienced such phenomena with Stalin clearing out rivals like the resolution of the cluttering of the initially densely packed solar system. Circumstantial, more physical and fiduciary interests may pursue narrow self-interest to the detriment of the governing parameters. The American democracy has been transcended by corporatism with violence funded from within to expanded transfer of wealth to increase the power of trans=national market special interests.
Human original sin means that people will steal, lie and use violence. Governments generally reduce and delimit violence, yet governments with the exclusive judge and executive of condign power are not necessarily just. Those that expect of government perfect justice, and expect to have the right to use non-violent means of expression to work for perfect justice in government, most logically support democracy and unlimited free speech. Inevitably some governments as well as some individuals are offenders against the normative social condition of equal rights and egalitarian.Hence some governments are unjust and violent from the perspective of those that would support democracy, yet some governments use violence against individuals that prevent the individual or net social exercise of a normative paradigm of security within a democratic social environment
Violence is political power fundamentally. Democratic governments with a defense of the proposition that all men are created equal and ought rightly to have equal treatment of the law with equal rights for perrsonal security tend to restrict violence. The executions with the sword of the Saudi's as imperial rulers of convicts is an example of the pure and exclusive right to use violence held
