Ladies and gentlemen-I feel that the ideologies and theories behind why older men and younger women date should be reproached. There are so many theories and notions, unsubstantiated-of course, why older men date younger women, and vice versa. I have heard so many absurd theories in my lifetime. Having dated older men, exclusively, I believe I can shed some light on the "older man...younger woman" theory. Moreover, I feel that when it comes to older men and younger women: debunking the myths of the past is very, very, necessary.

In many cases" polite societies" look at the older man, younger woman scenario as the man being a "lucky bastard", and the younger woman hitting the "jackpot". The luck for the younger woman usually is associated with the older guy being financially secure, and filled with this type of narcissistic type of confidence. People, wake up! This is hogwash" in so many cases. Please allow me to take a moment and shed some light on the real deal, or rather why older men and women date.

Younger women often date older men, for the intellectual, romantic, intimate, and erotic attributes the older man brings to the relationship-not to mention his sensitivity to her needs. In addition, the older man, of today, tends to date the younger woman not for her youth and alleged "younger physical attributes-that is a real myth. Older men are attracted to the younger woman of today, because she is sure of herself, embraces growing old gracefully, and basically is in touch with her own state of being, and sexuality! When these attributes connect, the fireworks are instant, and continual.

Usually, the younger woman could careless about climbing the social ladder, or her power and position at the "country club". Most of the women I know, who date older men, make it all about the man. In retrospect, the older guy, who usually yearns for this type of attention, is auspicious and reciprocates the same emotions in abundance. Thus-further enhancing the romantic, intellectual, emotional, and physical intrigue between the couple. The old myths of the past are out of the window.

Trust me-it takes a very sure and confident younger man to satisfy the psychological, physical, and romantic needs of an older and more experienced man. But once this task is mastered-the end result is usually a love that is here is stay"! In some cases the love outlast the relationships. But the mental and emotional connection last a lifetime. Long story short-ladies and gentlemen-the theories of past why older men date older women simply do not apply to many relationships of today.
