The life and death of James Dean

James Dean was not a fashion stud, he was as raw as a meal is before preparation. He was born on February 8 1931, in Marion, Indiana, USA. His name which was given at his birth was James Byron Dean. His close buddies called him Jimmy Dean. He grew up on a farm by an aunt and uncle. Ever since he was young he aspired to be an actor.

He moved to New York in order to pursue a carrier in acting, and received rave reviews for his work in The Immortalist, in which he played the part of an Arab boy. This spot got him the attention of a few top Hollywood artists, and he managed to even score a trip to the major entertainment city Hollywood.

There he was picked up by casting agents right away, and managed to get work in the film industry quite fast. His roles were small bit parts, however they kicked him right through the front door.

In 1956 just as the film Giant was coming to a close, James Dean was speeding along a roadside in a hot little movie star Porsche, when he lost control of the car and collided with another car in the suburb Cholame in California. He died on impact as his car crumpled up like a smashed in coke can. He had received a speeding ticket just two hours before, however he had stashed it in the dash board and sped on anyway, trying to drive off the stresses in his life which could disappear like the wind that tossed through his head of hair. His death was widely publicised, and was cast on the television set. A cult formed as a result, in order to remember the talent that had been struck down and cast away so very suddenly.
