"silicon (son)set"
her eyes
were
(two)
shimmering
Cesspools
the once
sacred bond
we shared
lie in
toxic
Ruin
our once
symphonic
melody
has become
a scratched
vinyl
with
grooves
so thin
they
were
anorexic
in nature
once upon
a lie
her sweet
Kisses
tasted of
autumn
Honey
and now
the mere
Sight
turns my
Stomach
as would
sour
Milk
the wretched
resolution
(of us)
is only
Mellowed
by a tiny
Cherub
whose
Eyes
match
the sacred
brown
of my own
much like
a persistent
thorn
in
my sweet
Rose
her evil
scheme
stretched
even to
my wayward
Seed
to cause
internal
and maternal
Strife
you married
another
and took
away my
Soul
without
even
affording
Me
a long
kiss
Goodnight
across the
desert
Sands
My
Is heart
buried
as hot
Tears
turn my
silicon
ground
into
shattered
Glass

In the beginning of our time together I believed you.
You had such thoughts and dreams.
You had such plans.

LUCIE'S LIAR
"I'll call you back when I can talk."
He sets the cell phone down.
Our promises again he'll mock,
As in his lies
I thought you were a gent,
but you're a bear-garden rambler.
Fraudster.
Crack-rope.
Yellow-bellied gambler.
