Aaron Hart, a mentally disabled boy, was sentenced to 100 years to prison.

Sixth District Court Judge Eric Clifford sentenced Aaron Hart, 18, to 100 years in prison for sexually abusing a boy, 6 years old who was also mentally disabled. The boy was a neighbor's stepson,The woman found them behind the shed but did not know what was exactly going on. The jury thought Hart understood what he was doing and deserved to be punished. But

his defense attorney did not look into Hart's medical records, that he didn't have sufficient comprehension to know right from wrong.After the jury passed sentences of 30 years on three counts and five years on two counts, Clifford then stacked the sentences to run the full 100 years.

Hart has mental disabilities. Hart had been diagnosed as being mentally disabled with an IQ of 47 at age five and doctors said he would not get better over time. A seven-year old has an IQ of 47. Lawyers are asking if Hart had been dealt with fairly. How did the criminal justice system handle the mentally disabled teen? Hart was sent to a special prison where people with mental disabilities are imprisoned.

What most of the public doesn't know is Arron served one year in jail with violent offenders. In that one year, he was sexually assaulted repeatedly.
Mr. Hart informed jailers he had been assaulted by two men but only after a fellow inmate informed sheriff's deputies about the assault two weeks after it allegedly happened.

Court dockets show him being charged with only one count of assault and misdemeanor theft. Instead they gave him five counts of sexual assault ,which gave him 100-years in prison.They also coaxed him him to pleading guilty to charges that he had no understanding of.

An appeal has been filed for Arron Hart .The prosecutor that put Hart away has a bad reputation for going over aboard on criminals that don't need that much prison time.That is just more tax money taken from the public to boost this egotistical attorney record he has set for himself.

Another case involving Lamar county courts is the decision of freeing the men accused of killing 24-year old Brandon McClelland, the mother of the deceased said she will continue to seek justice for her only son.

Justice has not been served for Brandon, Jacqueline McClelland said shortly after noon Saturday from the porch of her east Paris residence. Until I get some justice for my son, it is not over by a long shot.

McClelland plans to take part in a protest rally scheduled for noon Monday at the Lamar County Courthouse, followed by a 2 p.m. community meeting at Leon Williams Park on 7th N.W. Street. Sponsoring organizations include Concerned Citizens For Racial Equality of Paris, the New Black Panther Party, Tarrant County Local Organizing Committee and Nation of Islam.

"It is not just about Brandon, but about the same thing we have been complaining about for years, which is injustice, Concerned Citizens president Brenda Cherry said late Saturday. It's about Shaquanda Cotton, Brandon (McClelland), Aaron Hart....and the list goes on.
