Survivor is the now classic example of reality TV that lacks any real intelligence and "guts". Instead of contestants relying on their cunning and abilities to "survive", they form pacts with each other, while fully intending to betray them later. This inherently brings out a darker portion of the human psyche.
I personally do not think this should be encouraged and glorified by the masses. More importantly, it should not be viewed by young, easily influenced, children. I strongly believe they should not see profit in betraying others at such a tender age, so i can only hope that most parents who are fans of the series do not allow their children to see it as well. Unless, of course, they explain what is happening to them, because knowledge will keep them straight-edged individuals.
To conclude, after watching a few seasons of Survivor, I have continually found it lacking in the qualities other's manage to find. I would suggest you watch and decide for yourself, but I found it to be a depraved waste of time.
