I AM A DREAMER
I am an impractical dreamer
I wonder if I'll ever be a successful writer
I hear the excitement of children's voices as they read my words
I see their bright faces
I want my words to touch their souls
I am an impractical dreamer
I pretend I have been published
I feel the excitement as I imagine my first book hitting the shelves
I touch the dreams and longings of young minds
I worry that I will never be good enough
I cry for my lack of ability
I am an impractical dreamer
I understand that hard work and perseverance sometimes pays off
I say knowledge is never a waste
I dream that I can achieve my goals
I try to learn all I can
I hope I can contribute to society
I am an impractical dreamer
