You were the rhythm of my heart, my life my breathe
I lost me in loving you, loved you more than myself
I thought only through death we would part
You chose to leave - divorce....... where do I start?
Yet day by day i begin again
Now my body no longer yearns for you, my heart no longer pauses at the mention of your name
Memories of what we had now are seldom and fading away
The rhythm of my heart is in a null and void state.
