A spiritual awakening is an experience that involves the realization or opening to another dimension of reality. The awakening is a mystical experience when a person becomes one with the transcendent, cosmos, or other deity. Spiritual awakenings refer to a wide range of experiences, including near-death experiences, psychic phenomenon, and being born again.
