Ryan laughed; happiness filled his face for the first time in five years.
We don't. The woodlings have too much magic; if we even try to escape they would turn us into a frog or something, Ryan replied back still laughing. Sara wasn't going to give up, there had to be a way to get out of here. The only problem was that, she needed a plan, a brilliant plan. She knows it was going to be hard if Ryan has been trapped here for five years.
By now it was night, and Ryan had decided to go to bed and stop listening to Sara's crazy plans of trying to get out of here. This was not the ideal place to sleep at for Sara. Sleeping on the ground in the discolored shack was like a hundred little rocks nudging into your back on a creepy exceeding quiet night. Sara couldn't sleep trying to think of a plan and the soundless forest made Sara uneasy. She didn't like the feeling of five inch creations able to turn you into a frog in your dreams, would any body?
The next day wasn't any fun either. The annoy sound of someone banging on the door seemed like the worst alarm clock. The sunlight slipped through the cracks in the rusty shack and the air seemed so fresh in the forest. Ryan was already up by the time Sara opened her sleepless eyes. Time to get to work, Ryan said as he slipped his feet into his torn dirt covered shoes.
What would they do to me if I don't be their slave for today?, Sara said looking up at Ryan with her sleepless eyes.
Turn you into a frog, Ryan said joking.
Seriously, Sara said as her green eyes lit up with fear.
I don't know what they would do to you I was never too dumb to try it, Ryan said looking back at her like she was crazy.
Sara sighs, What do we have to do as a woodling's slave any how?
Ryan looked back her as he headed out the door, You have no idea He said with his creepy smiley. Sara headed out the door after him. There were horrible ideas running around in Sara's mind, as to what they had to do today. When they got outside the woodlings led them to a strange tree, which shined like melt in the sun. Their job was to get sap out of the tree, sounds easy enough. The tree's sap was the woodlings' food, it was also how they got their magic, but the sap was so magical that if a human drank it they would die.
So how do we get the sap out? Sara said looking at the tree in a weird way trying to figure out it worked. Ryan laughed at Sara thinking that you could just get sap out of this
