As we remember Michael Jackson, it is most important to remember his indelible impact on the music industry.
His lurid personal life, while perhaps exaggerated and flamboyant, should not be the focal point of memories. The memories created by Michael Jackson will last a lifetime in the minds of millions. His music was energetic and catchy, and can instantly bring back evocative memories for a plethora of fans.
When remembering Michael Jackson, it is important to remember that he was a son, a husband, a father, a brother, an uncle, a contributing member of society, an extraordinary entertainer, and a musician. It is easy to disparage and sully his reputation, but a deeper and more introspective look yields a glimpse into a deeply troubled individual that also happened to revolutionize the music industry and the music video industry.

Michael was not a sexual being, per se, and therefore his sleepovers may just have been as innocent as that. As the tragic details of his life become center stage, we must remember that he was raised in a tumultuous home, and spent the majority of his life sheltered and lonely
