In a downward spiral

Seems to stretch for miles
On and on it seems to go
There is no end to this sadness
There is no end to this sorrow

It felt like every pore in my arm could actually breathe.
Your grasp was so tight; compacting the bones that
Emotionless
Motionle ssness
The calm after the storm
Blank pages in my book
Cause no alarm
And make no sense
All nonsense
The salty
Cigarette Burns
I stare at the cloud of smoke trailing from
The tip of my ultra light cigarette.

Protesting against
