Unfortunately, the answer to this question is yes. Iran has been a large threat to the world peace for an overly long time for several reasons. Now with the rise in North Korea's nuclear weapon technology there is a much larger threat. The new power N. Korea discovered will lead to out of control power and could eventually effect the peace of the world.
Iran. A huge threat to the world and the peace that it's people strain so hard to maintain. Certain Iranian politicians, like former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believe that Israel should not exist. For religious reasons the two countries cannot coincide in the same region without large conflicts arising. This hatred and the conflicts that occur because of it disturb any hope for world peace. Iran also has a knack for developing weaponry that is extremely dangerous. Long range missiles, missiles that can be launched from almost thousands of miles away from the target, and nuclear power are two of the Iranian favorites and the effects of either weapons are potentially devastating to the world and it's countries. Both of these things have worked long enough to help form and support the taliban, a group of terrorists who make threats to countries of the world, and often make good on the threats. The Taliban has effected the world peace several time in the past few decades. Iran has been a large threat to the world for many reasons and still remains to be quite a large threat.
With all of that said, Iran is still obviously a major threat to the world, but with other countries making advances on nuclear tehcnologies and other problems they fall back on the list of "Who is the larger threat".
Countries like North Korea have recently made huge advances in weapon technology that has the potential to not only effect the world's peace, but end the world all together. North Korea has been making and testing nuclear missiles over the past months and has been a major concern to the UN and countries of the world. Gaining something that entails the responsibility of using it, or not using it, for the greater good of the world and its population gives a lot of power. That power can be a lot to handle, as in this case. The power that North Korea has discovered has definitely "gone to their heads". They have since made threats on countries like the United States of bombing the island state of Hawaii. The country is quickly spinning out of control.
With and out of control country with the power to blow up anyone of anything in the world the threat automatically increases. The threat that Iran has produced has been around for quite some time and is being handled, of course there will always be room to improve and change the ways it is being handled, but it is being delt with in some way. The threat that North Korea gives is new, and little time has been given to look at the situation and begin to fix it. The problem is much greater because of the lack of experience to this specific issue.
Iran and North Korea both pose a serious threat the world peace. At any random time either country could act and significantly impact the lives of any country, or the whole world. Currently the threat produced by North Korea is much larger because of how new it is, and needs to be more closely looked at if we can hope to save the peace we all struggle to have amongst each other.
