" Shanghai undertaking"
our passageway is no longer the same odyssey
the one in which we embraced each other hand in hand
walked down the pathway that swallowed us up with
comely autumn trees and polychromatic flowers
each visit there you would pick me the most beautiful
flower that defined our love-The Iris
with its beauty, it's fragrance, and sharp color glow
now the beauty of us has faded and is slowly dying
in advance of it completely perishing
we must pause to thread the two hearts that once connected
drowning in the river of our lonely shadows
our love must be replanted to be redeemed
for this reason, let us now hurry together
our hearts before they are collared by the passing winds

You had gone away and left me alone.
