Do you seek attention from other men, or perhaps pay a little too much attention to another male, do you flirt just a little too much with men other than the one that you are with? If so, and you want this second attempt at your relationship to work, then it is your behavior that you must alter if you want to succeed. Learn to flirt, and to acquire the attention that you desire, from the one that you are with. Talk to him or seek joint counseling to discuss the subject.
There are many issues within a relationship that we can feel uncomfortable discussing, but these are the very things that most need to be dragged out of the closet, and hashed out. The more that you learn to openly communicate with each other, than the easier it will become over time. Practice complimenting each other. Practice flirting with each other. Rather than just trying to be a couple, try being a dating couple, and court each other in the true fashion of old fashioned courting.
There is one aspect of a jealous partner however that is not to be tolerated, and that is violence, there is never an excuse for violence in a relationship. This is one arena in which there is no allotment for forgiveness. If he is violent then get out! Love does not display itself in violence.
