What is in a hug
I'll gladly let you know
a feeling of warmth
from your head down to your toe

A hug holds someone close
and tells them you care
Some hugs say I love you
Some say I'll always be there

Some say you are special
some say I'll miss you
Some ease our tears
some relieve our fears

But whatever the reason
whatever the meaning
When we share a hug
it leaves us with warm feelings

What is a hug? A hug is a personal display of affection. Its our way of connecting with someone on a personal level and our way of trying to relieve all their woes. A hug is our way of making someones day a little brighter and a little happier. What better way to start your day then with a big bear hug. What in this world is better than a hug? Nothing, because a hug says everything with out uttering a word.

I'm a big hugger from way back being brought up in a family when physical display of love wasn't considered proper, I decided when I had children I would hug them as often as I could. The odd thing about showing you care is that once you do it gets easier and easier every time you hug. Know that everyone needs a hug once in a while for whatever reason.. Now you may ask yourself whats in a hug? Why do humans need to hug. I think that we as human being need to connect with others on a physical level as a way of knowing that there is someone out there who really cares about what we think and who we are. I really think that a hug does make a difference. It changes peoples outlook of life and makes the world a better place to live. A hug says I like you , to let someone know you care. You press your arms around someone to hold them dear, and let them into your heart. A hug is shows sympathy to someone who has suffered a loss and to let them know they are not alone.

Can we change the world one hug at a time? If only it were that simple. I really don't think we can change the entire world but we can change our own personal world. When you share a hug the world does seem suddenly to be a better place. You change that persons outlook on their day and bring a smile to their face, let them know you are there for them or just make them feel that they are not alone.

You wrap them in the warmth of your love. A hug makes them feel there isn't anything they can't do. So just remember though we can't change the world maybe if everyone in the world just for one moment stopped what they were doing and gave someone a big hug then maybe just maybe the world would become nicer place to live.
